Daily Goals come to Finalist
Setting a daily goal is one of those simple habits that’s easy to skip, but surprisingly powerful. If you take just a few minutes at the start of the week to give each day a single priority, you’ll find it so much easier to begin the day with focus and momentum.
The latest 3.3 update lets you swipe through days of the week and add a goal on top of each day. These goals become the first thing you see in the morning, making sure you accomplish what's important. And once that date passes the goals remain part of your journal, making your weekly reviews that much easier. (You do weekly reviews, right? 😅)

Finalist now also supports Journal Suggestions, with new photo stickers added to your Journal timeline, exercise route maps, and more.
The task editing has also received a substantial update: you can now edit tasks and events inline, edit in full screen when needed, and add notes across all activity types.

New clearer Settings screen makes it easy to customize which Daily sections you care about, while Plan Solo mode lets you focus on only your own calendars. Drag-and-drop now works across the app, whether you’re reordering lists or managing your Planner.
Under the hood, scrolling is faster, notifications are tidier, and widgets work better — a number of small fixes that add up to a smoother experience.
So dive into Finalist 3.3 and let me know what you think! Thanks go out to all the cool productivity keeners in our Discord, who've helped shape this release. 👋
